Back story: I upgraded my paints from a cheap hobby set to paints that cost x3 more, thinking surely there cant be that great a quality difference. I humbly stand corrrected. These little Japanease paints are incredible. 

I got them as a Christmas gift for myself, after selling several hundred dollars worth of paintings earlier that Christmas season at different markets. 

On my flight back to Scotland I remembered thinking. I can't wait to paint this view with those watercolors and test them out. Here we are.
